PolygonLEAP 2021 — Aimed at driving innovation and supporting Indian startups’ in their Web3 journey — announces its first cohort
PolygonLEAP 2021 — an accelerator launched by Lumos Labs, an innovation management firm, in partnership with Polygon, one of the largest blockchain ecosystem in the world, with the support of Incubation partner Builders Tribe and investment partners from leading web3 venture capital firms including, CoinDCX, Digital Finance Group, Elevation Capital, Hashed, Jsquare, Jump Capital, Lightspeed, Picus Capital, Sino Global Capital, and Woodstock Fund, has announced its first cohort of 31 shortlisted startups. The top 31 decentralisation solutions will now move to the Bootcamp Phase where they will build out their ideas under expert mentorship and guidance along with workshops dedicated to equipping them with the right tools.
The Acceleration program focuses on supporting innovative decentralised ideas while giving them access to mentorship, ecosystem support, and marketing support throughout.
Furthermore, The winning startups will stand to win a grant amount of upto $250,000 set aside by Polygon apart from an additional prize pool of a whopping $12 million+ from the investment partners, subject to due diligence and investment thesis fit.
After sorting through over 270 potential projects, We have narrowed it down to 31 unique solutions who will be moving further to the Bootcamp phase. After the Bootcamp, we will be selecting our final projects that will pitch live at the Demo Day.

Vayupankh, a startup from Raipur, India, is a set of tools for building, deploying, and growing our dApp. This startup provides blockchain enablement services including powerful APIs, analytics, smart contracts, databases, etc. services that help developers focus on the app experience and not be caught up in the internal functions.
Headquartered in Eindhoven, Netherlands, Fabwelt is a utility token on Polygon network focused on Gaming. The company was formed by Abhishek Pegada in March 2021. They provide customised solutions to firms specialising in various spheres like banking and finance, gaming industry, entertainment, cryptocurrencies, etc.
Based out of Moscow, Russia, Energy8 is a Polygon integrated solution for game server owners. They have created a unique bridge for multiplayer computer games enabling a smooth user interface..
Understanding the potential of B2B, Blockchain, Enterprise Software and Supply Chain, a startup was initiated by Sid Chakravarthy in 2016, namely, StaTwig. It is a UNICEF Innovation Fund blockchain startup that creates supply chain management tools that are capable of tracking and tracing products at the unit level in multi-stakeholder environments. By adding payments and NFT marketplace on top of its supply chain layer, StaTwig enables users to buy, sell and auction products and then use the supply chain layer to ensure the safety and quality of the products while in storage and shipment.

Deakte is a Crypto and blockchain based startup. It can be used in DPay to make instant crypto payments and it can be used as a utility token in various payment transactions. Deakte is working on ERC 1363 EIP with several single token payment applications using the QR payment method, and several methods such as AI, complex facial recognition and fingerprints as an alternative to combining codes as secret key combination phrases for wallets. They are also working on developing an efficient native cryptocurrency with its own network and next development using ledger as another blockchain service product in the future like smart carbon trading as a project.
A startup built in Montreal, Canada in 2021, which is continuously working towards helping anyone accept crypto payments in less than 2 minutes. The multi-chain solution, MooPay is a no-code, non-custodial and completely on-chain solution that enables users to receive payments from anyone directly into their digital wallets.
Based out of Delhi, Respct.club is building a Web3 marketplace where content creators can launch their own social tokens, and build a close-knit community with their fans. With this solution, the creators can also incentivize token holders by sharing their future projects, providing perks — access to exclusive talks, meetups, merchandise etc., thus creating value for their tokens.
AccuChain, an HR Tech company formed in 2019 is a next generation resume builder with built-in validation. The blockchain-based startup validates the key achievements of applicants through a trusted third party and permanently stores the resume to prevent frauds.

This startup is a metaverse movie theatre where diverse voices can screen their films. Securing a position in the YourStory Tech50 startup list, Zippy is building a community owned and community operated decentralised platform for 600 Million runners across indoor and outdoor running formats; where runners can run, train and communicate in a truly border-free metaverse by combining the principles of web3, gametech and deeptech. Apart from making running immersive, fun and effective, Zippy incentivizes runners with move-to-earn economics through native tokens and reputational NFTs that could be swapped for fiat/other cryptos.
Based out of Chennai, India, wowTalkies is a fan engagement platform that brings movie fans, studios/production houses and celebrities together using blockchain. With this solution, studios and celebrities can cultivate their fandom, build fan communities and offer collectibles and NFTs.
