Upcoming releases at Lunabets
The team took a well-deserved break off over Christmas & New Year; I can only apologise for the lack of community announcements. I will ensure you are well informed about all changes, no matter how big or small!
We have taken thousands of bets and are confident we will be out of Beta soon. We have been fortunate to have plenty of community and organic traffic from Twitter and Discord depositing and playing. Some of you have won big, so congrats! E-Sports is a fast follow in the coming days, too, as I know many of you have been asking recently.
I will detail below what features we aim to release in the coming weeks. This is the most exciting month in our journey by far. We have not only paved the way for an entirely new experience with LunaFi, but crucially our product has no more friction than the leading CeFi Crypto sportsbooks.

What's coming up in February?
Side Nav
We have overhauled the side nav to include links to LunaFi. As LunaFi is a novel product, we need to inform new users of what makes us special. It is now clear that there are three parts to the platform. We hope you like it! It is currently in staging and will go out next week.
LunaFi House Pools
As a reminder, the house pools will allow you to deposit USDC, BTC, ETH & LFI to take a share of the bets that Lunabets takes.
This has taken longer than expected, as calculating the Expected Value and Max Exposure correctly across thousands of bets and live markets has been difficult to design. Still, we are confident we are very nearly there.
The Max Exposure may seem very high, but we are working on providing a Risk-Adjusted figure, so users can see the probability of the max exposure occurring. We will be using this figure over max exposure in the long run.
Why? If 100 users bet $1 on different multiples of odds of 1,000/1, the chances of all winning are so remote we do not need to hold liquidity of all of these outcomes. We will be extremely conservative anyhow. This is why LFI staking will have a higher yield because the LFI pool will serve as an insurance pool.
Affiliates & Referral
The dashboard is ready and will be live next month. This will allow users to share Lunabets and get rewarded. It is based on turnover, so you receive fees regardless if they win or lose.
The fees are calculated from the house edge of each bet, and the more players you bring, the higher this will be. Similar to how Bet Mining works, you can progress through levels based on the cumulative turnover of your referred users. The exact equations will be available on the dashboard, and you can easily see how many clicks your links have got, how many players you have referred and how much has been bet.

This is a boring one, but we have all of our Discord team trained up, and we will have onsite support 24/7!
Social Chat
This will be a great feature. We will also get Discord to link in with the social chat. Unlike our competitors, we won't spam the box with fake chat, so It will be for genuine conversations of users, who will be rewarded for engaging content.
Additional betting options
We have ETH deposits on ETH & Polygon, but we will implement withdrawals directly to ETH as we only have Polygon. In addition, BTC on BTC/Lightning Network, USDC on the ETH network, and even USDT, although all $ deposits will be bridged to USDC. It will be interesting to get community feedback here, but I feel USDT is still a preferred option for other gambling site users.
You will also be able to bet in LFI!
Race to Mars
I’ve spoken about the leaderboard before, but It is nearly ready! All the prizes are in LFI; It will be weekly initially.

Did someone say airdrop???
I can’t release any details yet, but we have teamed up with some of the smartest on-chain analysts to airdrop addresses that are most likely to use Lunabets.
The date for this is estimated to be around March. The airdrop is aimed at accounts not currently signed up to Lunabets, those who are betting & sharing referral links in the coming weeks will also qualify.
