We’re happy to announce that a new version of the Luna web app has been released, packed with improvements to the user experience. The changelog is detailed below. As always, if you have feedback for the product team, you can get in touch with us at luna@meetluna.com.

  • Default profile pictures added to all user profiles without profile pictures.
  • Automated smart cropping added to ensure profile pictures of varying resolutions are optimally presented.
  • Added gender identification option “Other”.
  • Added gender seeking option “Everyone” that matches users identifying as Man, Woman or Other.
  • Flipped the sides of messages in the conversation view such that the logged-in user’s messages are on the right.
  • Speed improvements to the welcome page.
  • Profile pictures span the whole width.
  • “First name” user field changed to “Name or nickname”.
  • Allow 1-character names.
  • Fixed a bug where an error code of one page would keep appearing on other pages.
  • Fixed typos.
  • Code improvements.
