Domestic Dispute in St. Charles Leads to Armed Standoff

A 911 call came in from a home on the 1100 block of Pike Street, less than a mile away from Lindenwood University, of a domestic dispute in progress. When an officer arrived, the suspect brandished a gun after the victims had left the house safely. Backup and SWAT units arrived soon after while the suspect fired up to three shots at officers on the street. After a few hours however, officers were able to talk the suspect out of the house and into custody. No injuries were reported.
