For many years, Lindenwood University has been well known for its original lion logo. The changes of the logo will redefine what the school means to its students. Since the arrival of President Shonrock, tons of changes have been made from the discussion of credit hour changes to the decision to rebrand Lindenwood through a new logo.

“This was been a campus wide implementation. We have been working on branding for quite some time now working with a marketing firm, and really trying to get the message out about Lindenwood,” said Dr. Joseph Parisi, Vice-president for Enrollment Management.

The logo’s meaning of being like no other represents Lindenwood’s amazing faculty, students, facilities, and the community’s involvement with the school’s events.

“It’s far more than a logo change, this is a whole brand change and a whole redesign and what we did is that we went through a process called distilled thinking and took a little bit of time to capture the essence of who Lindenwood really is,” said Scott Queen, Director of Marketing and Communications.

The new logo is designed for Lindenwood to come together as an institution and decide the best future that will keep the school moving forward. The new logo not only represents a new image but a new college culture that’s like no other.

“So we wanted to come up with a brand and develop what does that look like, what does that whole culture look like. That’s where we came up with like no other because this place truly is like no other,” replied Queen.

President Shonrock hopes that the new Lindenwood logo will tell the story of where the college is at and where it’s headed.
