A mark in history was made as the 44th Eagle Council was held at the St. Louis Airport Marriott Hotel on September 13th. Potential candidates were able to share what their plans were for the future if elected president.

The Eagle Forum invited many of the leading GOP Presidential hopefuls for 2016 to address several issues. They were given time to speak and answer questions from the council attendees.

Founder of integrity leadership, Buddy pilgrim shared, “Because senator Cruz has said time and time again that he believes the key for any republican winning a national election is to do a better job mobilizing people in the faith community to get off their pues and to get into the voting booths and vote their values.”

The GOP presidential candidates addressed many issues popular to the republican voters. Candidates discussed established plans for country wide security and strategies for planned parenthood.

Since there has been a huge increase in young participants for the upcoming elections Presidential Republican Candidate Rick Santorum believes the democrats have negatively affected young people.

Santorum states, “It’s a real problem that the democrats have put in front for young people in america and you throw on top of that the dramatically increasingly cost of college and again where’s the administration on that. They just keep saying we’ll borrow more money and borrow it from the federal government.”

The Eagle Forum was held in Missouri because of the great opportunity to get the word out for the election in 2016. Anyone was able to attend and present questions or opinions they had concerning the upcoming election.

Republican Candidate Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) addresses the crowd at the 44th Eagle Council Forum held at the St. Louis Airport Marriott Hotel on Sept. 13th, 2015.

Republican member of the Missouri House of Representatives was no stranger to the event. Tim Jones said, “And as we enter election zone it’s been even more exciting because st. Louis has become ground zero for the presidential race this weekend. We’ve had a lot of exciting candidates in town including the person i came to see this morning, senator Ted Cruz.”
