Saint Charles Hosts a Plethora of Four Legged Friends

The Saint Charles Parks & Rec Department recently hosted their 12th annual Paws in the Park event, encouraging dog owners to get out and let their buddies socialize with other dogs, while at the same time promoting local businesses for their pets. Nancy Lee Gormer of the Parks Department was very happy about the increased turnout from local businesses in recent years, with everything from obedience schools to treat trucks, and even cremation services for when your friend passes on. The event was a big success with nearly 200 attendees, which you can double if you include the furry friends. and included some fun events such as obstacle courses, costume contests, and even a police K9 demonstration.
