10 years of ‘The Dark Knight Rises’, a movie powered by hysteria

I will always remember the summer The Dark Knight Rises was released as an unfathomable build-up of hysteria for this excitable 14-year old followed by a massive dose of reality. Bar maybe the first Twilight or one of the Potters, I’ve never made myself as close-to-vomiting-with-anticipation crazy excited for a film as Chris Nolan’s third Batman movie.
