Venture capital should be a necessarily broad intellectual endeavor, ranging in a curious way across pretty much every field and domain. At least that’s how we like to think about it. It gives us an excuse to think about the interconnections between lots of different topics, from how changing cod populations can teach us about psychological biases, or how space travel can impact agriculture, to the importance of really long data sets — whether of weather information or energy usage.

We are discipline-agnostic because the future of startups is too. And that’s the philosophy of this podcast: Intersections is a podcast that aims to tie together science, technology, startups, venture capital, and the future.

Co-hosted by Paul Kedrosky of SK Ventures and Sam Arbesman of Lux Capital, we are both part of venture capital firms obsessed with thinking about the future and all of the inputs that go into it. And what it all means.

So tune in and listen (available on iTunes and Stitcher) as we explore what we are reading and thinking about, as well as occasionally talk to someone who knows a lot more about some topic than we do.
