How To Set Up Innosilicon T2Turbo 30T Bitcoin Miner

Follow the directions below to set up your Innosilicon T2 Turbo 30T to mine Bitcoin with Luxor Mining Pool. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us on Discord or comment below.

Innosilicon T2Turbo 30T Appearance

1) Installation

The first step is to connect a PSU (Power Supply Unit) to your Innosilicon T2 Turbo 30T. You can use special PSUs that are either made specifically for Bitcoin mining or even those made for servers.

Plug in all the power cables from your power supply to the power headers found at the top side of the miner. One cable for the controller and the rest for the hash boards. The light indicator will flash in red several times after power-on. After the device startup, the indicator lamp will blink in white for about three secs.

1: IP Reset Button; 2: Reset/Restart Button; 3: If the light is on, meaning the network connection is bad; 4: Blinking — DHCP mode (default); solid — Static IP mode.

Next, get on a computer or mobile device that is connected to the same network as the miner. You will need to enter in the miner’s IP address. Since most miners now come with DHCP enabled you do not have to manually set the IP address, you just need to look at the IP table on your router or use a scanning tool. On the controller board, click the IP Report button (above). Hold it down until it beeps (about 5 seconds) and then you should be able to locate it.

A scanning tool like AngryIP or Locator from Minerstats allows you to scan every device on your network and see its IP address.

After getting your miner’s IP address, you are ready for Configuration.

2) Mining Pool Setup

Log In to the Miner Console

First, you need to open a web browser and enter the miner’s IP address. A dialog box will pop up which requires you to enter the login credentials; both default username and password are “admin”. If password “admin” doesn’t work, please try “dragonadmin”.

Change Network Configuration (Optional)

DHCP is the default setting for network configuration. If you want to use static IP, please change the setting on the Network page.

Mining Pool Setup

Type in the pool setting as follows:

URL: stratum+tcp://btc.global.luxor.tech:700

Worker: [LuxorUsername].workername Workername can be anything, but avoid using symbols or special characters as it may be an invalid username.

Password: 123

After you finish the pool settings, press Update Pools. This saves and applies the settings and also reboots the mining process.

Wait for the pool to get connected, and then click on the Miner Status page. If you find a hashrate curve in the chart, the pool configuration is successful.

3) Monitor Revenue and Machine Performance

Once you’ve started hashing, grab yourself a beer! It’ll take about 5 minutes for your worker to appear on our stats page. To find your user, simply head to the Workers tab. You should see something like this:

Enjoy your new Innosilicon T2 Turbo 30T Bitcoin miner!

Happy Hashing!
