LWR Mission Quilter has a Carson Daly Moment

A Lutheran World Relief Mission Quilter writes about a funny coincidence to the St. Paul (Minn.) Pioneer Press:

Joy of Juxtaposition

Writes las of River Falls, Wis.: “I just had a Baader-Meinhof! [Bulletin Board rules: Well, no, sorry, you didn’t. But you did have a Joy of Juxtaposition. Nothin’ shabby about that (as any patchwork-quilter could attest)!]

“Late tonight, I was sewing around the last of five Mission Quilts for our church’s contribution to Lutheran World Relief (they provide quilts to aid disaster victims, refugees and the needy all around the world). As I stood up, quilt in hand to fold it, TV’s late-night music host Carson Daly announced ‘The Quilts’! Perfect!

“By the way, if you are looking for a good place for your extra fabrics or thread, contact almost any Lutheran church or other church to see if they, too, have quilt projects and would like your contribution!”
