Mission Police District, Regularly Scheduled Community Meeting

Did you attend the whole meeting?

Yes.

Tell us about public input: Did it happen? How was it conducted? Did it seem adequate?

Yes. It was generally allowed throughout the meeting, but most of all at the end of the meeting. It did seem adequate.

About 10 people from Clinton Park area showed up in force to discuss issues of drug dealing and violence in the area. They were each allowed a fair bit of time to speak and the

Everyone was attentive, courteous, and prepared. Presentations were well prepared, people listened and offered potential solutions and contact information when problems were presented.

Want to tell us anything else (about the process used, the content of the meeting, decisions made, adherence to laws and regulations, etc)?

There was an interesting presentation on a man named Dave experiencing homelessness that had interacted with police. They were auctioning off one of Dave’s art pieces to help him raise money.
