Co- Founders

Indra Darmawan, our CEO, is not new to the world of health and wellness. He founded and lead the team behind DokterSehat.com, incorporated as PT Media Kesehatan Indonesia. Started back in 2007, DokterSehat.com is now one of the biggest online healthcare portals in Indonesia, with over six million Indonesians actively using it per month. The main focus of the platform is informing and educating Indonesians in the areas of health and wellness. People can also ask questions to doctors on the website or through DokterSehat’s various social media channels. Through all their years of experience providing healthcare education and advice, the DokterSehat team have become very perceptive to the current healthcare trends in Indonesia.

Lyfe’s group of co-founders also include Oscar Darmawan, who’s name is synonymous with cryptocurrency in Indonesia. Oscar co-founded of Indodax, previously called Bitcoin Indonesia. Indodax is the biggest fiat-to-cryptocurrency exchange in Indonesia, with over 1.5 million registered users. In the last four years, Oscar has focused on building and growing the blockchain ecosystem in Indonesia.

Next in our co-founding group is the team of seasoned entrepreneurs who founded Tiket.com: Mikhael Gaery Undarsa, Dimas Surya Yaputra, and Wenas Agusetiawan. Tiket.com is one of the leading online booking & ticketing websites in Indonesia, having won multiple domestic and international awards. Rounding up our co-founders is CEO of Tokenomy, Christian Hsieh. Tokenomy is a Singapore-based exchange and launchpad for blockchain tokens, where our Initial Token Sale will be held.

Target Market

Lyfe will target the Southeast Asia market as our initial market. Southeast Asia is a massive market, with a combined population of over 600 million, that is currently experiencing a golden age of economic growth. Right now, the ASEAN market is the fastest growing market in the world, and is also the third largest market in the world.

Healthcare demand in Southeast Asia is fast increasing. Driving factors for this are the rapid population growth in the region and the increasing number chronic diseases compared to infectious diseases among the population. Many Southeast Asian economies are struggling to meet this increase in demand, due to relatively underdeveloped public healthcare systems.

Improving health and fitness is now a key focus of consumers across Southeast Asia. With increased prosperity, consumers in the region are becoming more and more health conscious and are showing strong interest in healthy lifestyles. Brands in various industries, from health and sports to beauty and personal care are slowly modifying their products to tap into this growing trend.

Digital economy growth in the region is another major factor for us. Asia-Pacific, which encompasses Southeast Asia, accounts for 70% of the total growth in global internet users and 62% of the growth in global social media users in 2017. With 330 million monthly active Internet users, Southeast Asia’s Internet economy has reached 50 billion USD in 2017. The region’s internet economy will continue to make up an increasing percentage of its GDP.

Finally, our team through DokterSehat.com has had many years of experience marketing and building up a large following in Indonesia. This experience will help us learn what the people in this region look for in a product. The Lyfe team will work very closely with the DokterSehat team to ensure our platform will attract a large userbase, and that our users and partners will be satisfied with their experience using Lyfe.
