Lympo gaining traction in South Korea: full report
On August 22–23, a major blockchain conference, Blockfesta, took place in Seoul, South Korea. Lympo‘s booth was visited by hundreds of curious attendees, and Lympo‘s advisor Antanas Guoga, together with Asian business manager Sungmin Kim, established new relationships and attracted significant media attention.
Lympo‘s booth was one of the most crowded booths at Blockfesta. According to Sungmin Kim, who also gave a speech about Lympo at the conference, lots of people showed interest in Lympo‘s business model, innovative ideas and partnerships. More than a hundred people did squats to earn LYM tokens, and about 60k LYM was distributed to the participants of this attraction.
Lympo advisor and a member of the European Parliament, Antanas Guoga (Tony G) gave a speech at Blockfesta, presenting the current situation of EU‘s blockchain industry and policy. Antanas‘ speech received a lot of attention and questions both from conference participants and the media, which reported Mr Guoga‘s visit in up to 20 publications. Notably, he was interviewed by Korea’s largest business journals — MK and ECONOMYChosun. Some of the interviews with Mr Guoga about the future of blockchain and Lympo have already been published.
Mr Guoga has also met representatives from various companies, including a meeting with the CEO of Gate.io, to look for new opportunities for collaboration. Talks were also started with other promising potential partners, however, details are yet to be worked out, and more exciting news will be announced at a later date.
The most noteworthy meeting, however, was that with the mayor of Seoul — Park Won-soon. Mr Guoga met the mayor as a member of the European Parliament, yet, potential collaboration in the sphere of blockchain was also discussed. Mr Won-soon has also received an invitation to visit Blockchain Centre Vilnius, where Lympo is headquartered.
According to Antanas Guoga, this trip has helped to cement Lympo’s presence in South Korea and sowed the seeds for future expansion and development.
