Lympo is Launching a New Groundbreaking PTE Basketball Manager Game: Assemble & Govern Your Basketball Team

Last year, we announced our plans to launch sports-themed, blockchain play-to-earn games, where Lympo NFT holders could utilize their assets and earn exclusive rewards.

Well, get ready to create your team, assemble your roster, and dominate the basket court with your very own Basketball team in the upcoming Lympo Play-To-Earn Basketball Manager Game.

Collaborating with a game development studio, we’ve been hard at work to create an intriguing gaming experience for the Lympo ecosystem.

The preliminary launch date is late Q2 or early Q3 of 2022.

Keep in mind that this is a very rough estimate of the official launch, and the final date will be announced later this year!

Generative Art NFT Characters

We’ll be releasing a generative art NFT collection of male and female basketball characters that can be used in the upcoming game.

The same way basketball players have distinctive traits and stats in real-life, our generative NFT characters will come in different rarities with a set of unique attributes that will affect your basketball team’s gameplay.

Use Lympo NFTs to Power Up Your Players

Bringing additional utility through gameplay, existing Lympo NFTs will be a gateway to success. If you own Lympo NFTs, make sure to prepare them for the upcoming Basketball Manager game. Each Lympo NFT will provide your in-game players with an extra boost that will increase your team’s overall strength.

Besides Lympo NFTs the Lympo Basketball managing game will utilize LMT tokens as in-game play to earn currency.

Rewarding players through victories, gameplay, achievements and milestones within the game.

To make the game more dynamic, we plan to expand the Lympo roster with new basketball players that players will be able to use in-game. As of recent, we’ve onboarded Goran Dragić and Donatas Motiejūnas into the Lympo Athletes pool, with many more basketball players in the pipeline.

Gameplay

Upon launch, the game is planned PvE (Player vs Environment) only. We’ll allow anyone to create their rosters and compete against AI teams each week. To make it more interesting, we’ll theme the computer-controlled teams around Lympo partners and athletes. By competing in weekly matches you’ll be able to earn rewards and build up a stronger roster.

Later down the roster, we plan to introduce PvP (Player vs Player) elements allowing you to pit your team against other players — battling for rewards, control, and of course, bragging rights!

The Lympo basketball manager will be the first of many in a series of casual Lympo sports games — bringing more and more utility to the Lympo ecosystem.
