Step By Step LYM-REVV Uniswap Liquidity Pool Tutorial
How to provide liquidity on the UNISWAP exchange for REVV — LYM pair?
In this tutorial, we will show how to provide liquidity using the Metamask extension. You can link other wallets supported by the UNISWAP exchange as well.
Please note: UNISWAP doesn’t support MEW wallet; MEW users will have to link MEW to Metamask first.
If you already use Metamask and have LYM’s inside the wallet, you will also need to get REVV tokens.
How to get REVV tokens?
- You can purchase REVV tokens on centralized exchanges.
- You can change LYM to REVV on the same liquidity pool. If you plan to provide 300k LYM and an equivalent amount of REVV tokens in USD value, you will need approximately 600k. LYM. Please note: You will also need ETH for transaction cost, as UNISWAP is a decentralized exchange.
- You can also swap ETH to REVV token on UNISWAP exchange; we highly recommend this option.
Step 1. Click the link to the ETH-REVV liquidity pool.
Step 2. Click Trade.
Step 3. After you have clicked the Trade button, the following message will pop up, click Continue, and approve your connection with the Metamask extension.
Step 4. Choose the amount you wish to change and Swap > Confirm Swap and all the following steps UNISWAP exchange will show.
Please note: Metamask extension will also ask you to confirm the transactions; click Confirm if you agree with the ETH transaction fee, you can also Reject and wait for a lower price later.
Remember, transactions will take some time, wait between the steps while they will show Pending status.
Congratulations, you have successfully changed ETH to REVV tokens. View your REVV on Metamask; click Add Token and search for REVV to view it or paste REVV token smart contract.
How to provide liquidity for REVV-LYM pairs?
Step 1. Click Add liquidity.
Step 2. Choose the amount you wish to add; the system will choose the ratio automatically. If you plan to add 300k LYM, ensure you have enough REVV tokens.
Step 3. Click Approve for LYM and REVV token spendings and wait between the steps while showing Pending status.
Step 4. Click Supply > Confirm Supply.
Please note: Metamask extension will also ask you to confirm the transactions; click Confirm if you agree with the ETH transaction fee, you can also Reject and wait for a lower price later.
Congratulations, you have successfully provided liquidity!
You will also receive Uniswap V2 tokens representing your share of the pool to manage it and keep them in your wallet.
If you can’t see them, click Add Token on Metamask extension and search for Uniswap V2 Token to view it; you can also view your wallet on etherscan.io to make sure you have the Token.
