We’re coming back with another Weekly Roundup. Reviewing the events of last week — expanding the Metaverse with new partnerships and a bundle of new athletes coming to Lympo. Let’s dive in!

Last Week’s Recap

One of the most exciting events of last week — our partnership with Vanquish.

We have entered into a partnership with Vanquish and together we’ll work on building stronger connections between athletes and their fans.

Vanquish — a sports and entertainment agency and a business developer is working on connecting top-class athletes with partnership and business opportunities.

This is an exciting partnership because we and Vanquish aim for the same — allowing sports fans from all around the world to connect with their favorite athletes.

With this partnership, we’ll introduce numerous world-famous sports athletes to our platform — starting with 11 brilliant female football stars.

In other news, our CEO, Ada Jonuse, has been invited on the “Navigating the Metaverse” podcast where she shared her thoughts on Women in Web3 and The Next Gen Fans.

We weren’t the only ones with an exciting week. The Sandbox, one of our dearest partners, entered into multiple new partnerships last week. First of which — Design Egg, bringing the Pat a Pat Como into the Sandbox Universe.

Design Egg is a creative digital content company based in Korea. Together with Design Egg, The Sandbox will be building “Como Tiny World”.

In the virtual space, players will be able to explore magical places such as a toy castle and a pirate ship in the fishbowl, take action, solve puzzles and enjoy the metaverse.

The Sandbox has also partnered up with CFDA — The Council of Fashion Designers of America.

The aim of this partnership is to establish a web3 blueprint for American fashion in the metaverse with a mission to educate, innovate, and create a community in a digital world.

The Metaverse Social Platform, Flickplay is partnering with The Sandbox to provide the Sandbox community with the ability to own a Flicky and claim different Sandbox utilities tied to Flicky Traits.

Holders of a Flicky will be able to build the social status of their Flicky by flexing them in the real world and creating videos with them.

Animoca Brands, the parent company of Lympo and The Sandbox, has announced the acquisition of two major video game publishing companies — Eden Games and Darewise Entertainment.

Eden Games is a publisher of popular racing games including the Gear.Club and Test Drive series. The company has strong experience in developing award-winning racing games across the mobile, console, and PC platforms and over 13 million game boxes sold and over 60 million app downloads worldwide.

Darewise Entertainment is a Paris-based game studio founded by former Ubisoft executives and other AAA games industry veterans. Darewise is currently developing a new play-to-earn (P2E) massively multiplayer online role-playing game called Life Beyond.

Animoca hopes these acquisitions will enhance its gaming ecosystem, including the REVV Motorsport ecosystem of blockchain-based racing games on Polygon.

Coming back to Lympo, we are moving forward with the launch of the new token following the hacking incident in January. The New Token will be released very soon — stay tuned for more news.

But these are not the only plans we have. In the upcoming weeks, we’ll introduce more new partnerships, as well as more top-tier world athletes, added to our Athletes Pool.
