Dear Lympo community,

Last week marked an important milestone for Lympo, as we’ve bridged our NFT minting platform to low-fee blockchain Polygon! It’s a crucial step in our mission to become a fully-fledged sports NFT ecosystem in which sports athletes, gaming, NFTs, fan engagement and much more comes together seamlessly.

On top of that, plenty of new Animoca Brands partnerships were announced this past week. Our network of companies becomes stronger every day, and we can’t wait to witness how they’re all coming together to lead crypto and blockchain towards mass adoption.

REVV Motorsport airdrop

Back in September, we’ve announced that we’re collaborating with REVV Motorsports and airdropping free REVV NFTs to Lympo users. Each of those REVV Motorsport car NFTs was themed around one of our existing Lympo Athletes. Last week, we announced the winners!

We’ve registered almost 4000 entries and dropped a total of 1463 REVV Motorsports NFT cars to the winners on November 2nd. Check the recap of our airdrop rules and the list of winning wallets here. Please note that the NFTs were dropped on the Polygon Blockchain, and to view them, you have to connect to our collection on OpenSea.

We’ve bridged our staking platform to Polygon

We’ve recently announced our plans to bridge Lympo NFT staking platform to Polygon while stepping into a partnership with Polygon Studios to develop Play-to-Earn blockchain games. On November 3rd, we’ve taken a snapshot of all Lympo user’s account data, after which we’ve completed our bridge to Polygon.

In the meantime, your Lympo NFTs have been airdropped to your wallet on the Polygon blockchain. And many of you have already bridged your LMT and started staking them again on our platform.

Please read the FAQ carefully to ensure everything runs smoothly, and don’t hesitate to ask your questions in our Telegram or Discord groups. Note that the bridge process works from ETH to BSC and from BSC to Polygon. We’ve outlined everything you need to know here.

Alternatively, if you’ve tried to transfer your LMT directly from ETH to Polygon (Matic), you most probably encounter an error. Read our step-by-step instructions on how to fix the issue.

Finally, our users can enjoy significantly lower transaction fees, and we noticed that many of you have started minting plenty more NFTs!

Rose Namajunas defends her World Champion title!

Legendary Lympo athlete @rosenamajunas defended her World Champion title against the impressive Zhang Wheili in the UFC Women’s Strawweight Title bout last week!

The Sandbox raises $93M to grow its open NFT Metaverse.

When it comes to fundraising, Animoca Brands has been on a roll lately. Now, SoftBank Vision Fund 2 leads a new fundraising round with Animoca Brands True Global Ventures, Liberty City Ventures, Galaxy Interactive, and other investors to support The Sandbox’s NFT-based entertainment metaverse!

With its significant growth in the past year, The Sandbox has the vision to turn players into creators and push for a player-owned economy that goes far beyond gaming. Think fashion, architecture, virtual concerts, virtual shows, art galleries, museums, and many more! With the new funding, The Sandbox will accelerate the development of its open metaverse, supporting more creators and involving more brands and IPs.

Animoca Brands partners with 99Starz

More news from our parent company, as Animoca Brands is partnering up with 99Starz to help build the world’s most significant NFT Yield Ecosystem!

They can already count SUPERFAST, Sorare, and Axie Infinity among their projects, and it’s pretty cool to see Lympo Athlete Tony G as one of their advisors! 99Starz has also teamed up with Polygon Studios recently, so it’s not hard to notice that the partner ecosystem is closely intertwined. Animoca Brands becomes Hasport validator

Animoca Brands news is not done yet! Last week, they announced their partnership with the hashport network. They became a validator to help facilitate the secure and efficient transfer of digital assets between different distributed ledger technology networks.

The hashport application will allow retail users to port their digital assets and explore new DeFi, gaming, and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) applications seamlessly between networks. If there is one company to help make interoperability of digital assets between different decentralized networks much more accessible for users, it’s Animoca Brands. When hashport launches tomorrow, it will connect Hedera’s public distributed ledger with both the Polygon and Ethereum networks and support other networks in the months after launch.

Now that we’ve launched our NFT minting platform on Polygon, we’re getting ready for many new functionalities. Expect features such as the NFT staking mechanism so you can stake your Lympo NFTs to earn more $LMT.

Apart from the NFT staking possibilities, we’d love to remind you of our upcoming Lympo Star Token ecosystem. We’re working very hard to deliver something unique for all of you! Our bridge to Polygon now makes this possible, as guaranteeing low fees is the only way to ensure proper engagement and interaction between token holders and their favorite sports personalities.
