Dear fellow o’Lympians,

What a week it’s been in the broader crypto industry, with BTC rising above the $60,000 level on Friday for the first time since April, and lots of news and anticipation around the US SEC approval for the trading of a Bitcoin futures ETF that might start as soon as tomorrow. We’ll see what this week holds in front of us. Regardless of what happens, we are excited to see the continued efforts and advances of crypto products, services, and policies that will drive adoption forward.

We’re convinced that the convergence of gaming and NFTs will prove to be the catalyst for broader adoption in the space, and we remain as dedicated as ever to be one of the driving forces when it comes to the sports industry.

Last week, ApeSwap listed Lympo’s LMT token in the Top 10 GNANA Pools on their platform by Annual Percentage Rate.

Pretty cool to see that our LMT token was among the highest Pool Rewards APR last week! Oh, and have you noticed another Animoca Brands token on the list? 😉

DOSE Token Voucher Presale

Last week, we counted down to the DOSE Token Voucher Presale, for which you could complete the transaction with LMT! For those who haven’t heard of DOSE: it’s an ERC-20 Fungible Token that sits at the heart of the OliveX gamified fitness ecosystem. Animoca Brands dominates DappRadar report

DappRadar published their Q3 Blockchain Game Alliance report on the state of blockchain gaming, of which 6 out of the top 8 game dapps and 4 out of top 6 metaverse lands are part of Animoca Brands!

Half the industry’s activity came from games, in-game NFTs made up 20% of NFT trading volume, and @AxieInfinity became the most traded collection ever. Dive in the report here.

Dan Tapiero and Yat Siu about NFTs and the Metaverse

Dan Tapiero hosted an enlightening conversation between Raoul Pal and the face of Animoca Brands Yat Siu about the state of NFTs and the open Metaverse. The gaming community is at the forefront of understanding digital representations of value and the sanctity of individual property rights.

Looking ahead

We’ve talked about it before, but the announcement on how we will solve the high fees is right around the corner! We’re looking forward to implementing a low fee structure into our NFT minting platform, and we’re sure you are too!
