Dear Readers,

Happy Valentine’s Day!

I’m putting The Paper to bed early and hoping not to put myself to bed too early so that I can see just how funny Alec Baldwin will be; if Melissa McCarthy reprises her Sean Spicer role; and also to see if Rosie actually comes to do Bannon, which would be exciting but folks say it ain’t gonna happen.

Who could I play? I am going to give that some thought. I am not a sheath-dress/wicked-high pumps kind of gal. Not a model-type with a nouveau Jackie O. veneer. Am semitic — but not Kushner-esque. Maybe have to think past the executive branch. Maybe legislative? I don’t know. Maybe judicial. It could work. Maybe I keep the hair pulled back which I’ve been doing alot of, lately. Match the glasses. Lose 15 pounds. Rent the robe. And voilå I think I’m there.

Now I will re-share something I have expressed before. I am maniacally afraid each week that somehow there won’t be enough news items of interest for me to fill up my Sunday Paper with15–20 links that I think are good and interesting enough to merit inclusion.

Good news/bad news: I think I can relax about that fear for a few weeks/months/years.

The LZ Sunday Paper is very, very persistent. It’s a weekly, so-far unsilenced must-read digest of news hand-picked by me, for you, about and by women in business, politics, media, the arts and pop culture. There’s usually something to laugh at or about, even in the toughest weeks.

Send me stuff you think should go in a future edition here.

Have a nice Valentine’s Day. As I’ve also written before — it is not my bag, so to speak. It is so not my bag, in fact, that I didn’t even note the date when I made a date with…my periodontist! But I do hope you get the roses and/or hugs & kisses you each want and deserve.

See you next week!

The LZ Sunday Paper™ launched at the dawn of 2014. We expose and recirculate interesting content that is about, and frequently by, women in business, with a dose of ultra-relevant culture. We think that culture comes high and low, not much in between. Our audience is vast and not gender-driven. Every week we expect to deliver at least one good laugh. Send suggestions, clips, or names of people you think might enjoy this to LZSundayPaper@gmail.com.
