An unusual number of my emails to my friends & families were landing in the spam folder. Hence, on the advice of my cousin, I started working on converting this mailer into a blog. I opened up a Medium account and got some success. Though, currently, I am working to use the blog’s RSS to automatically send out an email in the appropriate format.

I love reading as well as curating articles for my letter though my incessant mailers could annoy a few people. If you feel that you don’t have the time or find limited usefulness of this email, please feel free to unsubscribe as I may have taken the liberty of adding you.
I have a small request — please unsubscribe rather than marking it junk.

Goose hater or not, this game is pure indulgence for a bit of mischief-making. Your character is a goose whose entire purpose is to create a nuisance for the humans around in a histrionic manner. You can use stealth as an approach or go in vociferously charging at any and every human in an English village.

Primarily, the objective of the game (which probably started as a joke) is to explore immorality without the consequences. The article just explores the catharsis felt while playing this game.

The only downside for owning the game is you will get bored eventually. Though for the first half-hour each week you can be as insufferable as much as you want for about 400 bucks.

Even if you don’t end up reading the article, I might suggest you at least watch the trailer for the game.

Like most of the things in life, this too is about money. A young heiress to a large estate is sterilised by her stepmother. Though this does seem a slam dunk case of avarice nonetheless, some legitimate questions are asked on sexuality, motherhood, and eugenics. The most important one: Are bad children products of bad genes or bad parenting? I recommend reading this if only for the unusual gossipy title.

I have noticed that a large number of people have multiple courses of supplements from Vitamins to Iron usually prescribed by health and wellness sites. We have a tendency to fall for promises of a blissful life. Patanjali to other faux Ayurveda products largely taken without the due care seems to remind me of this author’s predicament. She traverses her own story about how a genuine need for supplements helped her overcome a certain deficiency which later developed into an excessive habit. The marketing of such products pushed for a magical portion for a healthy life. There are the obvious dangers of a fanatical craze to morph our bodies into the most efficient machines such as taking untested medicines outside of medical use or on a recommendation of a self-prescribed beauty trainer. Our diets are generally good enough to give us the requisite vitamins. Moreover, eating Chwanprash does not make us stronger any more than sipping Pepsi was one of the good things to take away.

I sheepishly fumbled on this in a quest to find something eccentric. A poignant tale of two brothers who are at odds with each other and yet connected through their sheep (hence the title). The movie forces us to laugh through the brothers’ unruly behaviour as well as their atrocious pace of lives in rural Iceland. The movie is extremely beautiful and cinematically detailed. We are forced to pause and notice the beautiful landscape such as the fjords (unlike our countless Bollywood dance shoots in Iceland). The movie focuses on the brothers who are forced to cull their respective livestock when swine flu-like disease called scrape spreads in their valley leading them to adopt a few untoward measures.

IMBD Rating: 7.4

Prices are usually are determined by demand and supply though, once in a while, we have to deal with ultra-luxury items. Truffles, a delicacy and a food topping, is expensive because of the actual short supply of the product but there are products which have an artificial man-made shortfall (such as face serums). Though we cannot necessarily indulge in all of the luxuries, this remains a goldmine of information for a future connoisseur of expensive items.
