Wow!

What a stunning turn of events!

According to Shams Charania on Twitter, NBA champion Kyrie Irving is expected to find a “new home” by opting in and requesting a trade:

Furthermore, it was reported by Shams that 2-time NBA champion Kevin Durant is currently “monitoring” the Brooklyn Nets’ situation and is considering his options. For one, I don’t blame KD for even considering leaving after what he went through last season with a part-time Kyrie.

Very soon, we will know a few teams KD will display for us to build a fantasy team on.

Do you know what this means?

Kyrie is planning his way out of the Brooklyn Nets and has listed 6 teams as legit destinations:

In addition, if Kyrie chooses the Lakers, which has been rumored to happen, he will have a chance to reunite with his former 2016 championship teammate, LeBron James, and save his legacy. With this move, Kyrie can rewrite the wrongs and become available for his teammates. Not only that, he has a chance to make it right with Nike and become the Lakers’ closer.

Would it be nostalgic to witness Kyrie in a Lakers uniform? Truly I tell you, Kyrie is Kobe Bryant in the flesh. He can do the fadeaway like him. Kyrie knows how to pick his spots and make his teammates better. In the last few years, Kyrie has been the best clutch scorer in the game. The best finisher of all time. Lastly, Kyrie mastered the game and is ready to win a championship with LeBron on his side.

Takeaways

My takeaway from this news is Kyrie has had enough of not winning and not being “available” for his team. In Kyrie’s mind, he was like, “I gave everything I had for the Nets and made it work for the betterment of the team. It was disappointing that KD, myself, and James did not play longer. I wish the Nets’ organization and the team the best. As for my bestie, I wish him well in whatever he does and ready for the next chapter in my life.”

Those words would have that similar sentiment effect when Kyrie requests a trade and bolts out of Brooklyn. I believe that there are no hard feelings between Kyrie and KD going forward. I hope that KD accepts Kyrie’s decision and finds his path. Prove us wrong and win a title to earn our respect KD so your legacy will not be tarnished.

That was all the news I have for you today!
