Not seeing you again,

A hard pill to swallow.

Tears every now and then

With sobs that follow.

Passing through life with strength,

Constantly get tired.

The heartache has no length,

And it won’t expire.

I wish I could see you.

Receive some more hugs.

Have a dad to look to;

Relieve pain through drugs.

No more hugs or laughter.

No more fun car rides.

No one to run after.

No one by my side.

Time continues to fly

Without you present.

I do try not to cry,

But I feel torment.
