Working in my teens helped develop me, myself and I !

I went through something similar in my late teens. I worked at a store called Marks & Spencers (M&S). At the time, it was an up-market store and the customers were very demanding. People were at times just rude and expected me to do everything for them. On one occasion, I was asked

do I know where food items were or did my job just entail cleaning ?

It was here, I learnt from others to be patient and how to deal with difficult and demanding customers, deal with time keeping and responsibility and most of all deal with people from different backgrounds and outlook on life. I was only working there to put myself through University, but to this day, when I look back — I feel those days were a lot simpler and made me the person I am today. I learnt from people who worked there for their career and are still there today. People who truly know how to multi-task and deal with stress.
