M2M Economy Team Elkrem — Smart self-owned cars using Ethereum Blockchain

Team Elkrem aims to solve transportation problems by building smart self-owned cars using Ethereum Blockchain. In the team’s home country’s capital Cairo, there are 20 million residents and as many if not more vehicles such as cars to transport them. Congestion is real. So what if we could take out part of the human element of “what’s in it for me,” and replace it with a machine-to-machine ecosystem to transport people to where they need to go with automated buses that get serviced by fully automated service stations, gas-stations, and even factories to make them? That would revolutionize living conditions in Cairo and any other city that adopts a similar system. And that is exactly what Team Elkrem is working towards!

After the first 24 hours, the team have been able to gather pretty much all of the use cases they wanted to look into. They’re now working on their 1000-Day Plan and expect to be able to present that on Sunday.
