Nduka is a student from the University of Manitoba, and he participated in our Work Integrated Learning opportunity.

Nduka has been learning about the potential of data processing and visualization with NumPy and Bokeh. Nduka elucidated the process by which he acquired a wide array of skills and knowledge in NumPy and Bokeh through his involvement in diverse projects spanning his time with the Work Integrated Learning opportunity program.

“I learned how to calculate data from a dataset in NumPy. I also learned how to create new columns in NumPy.”

“I learned how to graph codes on Bokeh.”

Nduka explained the soft skills he gained from the program and expressed his ability to effectively apply them.

“I am able to apply what I have learned from M2M tech in various ways, such as discipline, time management under given tasks, and overcoming challenges through coding.”

Ultimately, Nduka reflected on how the skills he acquired contributed to both his personal development and professional advancement. He emphasized how engaging in data science coding equips young college students with the tools for success in data-driven professional environments.

“Coding in data science offers young college students the opportunity to unlock the power of data-driven insights. Through coding, students can analyze vast datasets, derive meaningful patterns, and make informed decisions across disciplines. This proficiency not only enhances their problem-solving skills but also equips them with a sought-after skill set, positioning them for success in a data-centric professional landscape.”
