An important factor of a person’s personality which accounts for the state of being responsible, accountable, or answerable. Responsibility is the obligation to carry forward an assigned task to a successful conclusion and with responsibility goes authority to direct and take the necessary action to ensure success.

Lack of responsibility or even its obsolete absence is never considered to be a positive feature.

Is a person born with the sense of responsibility?

Obviously not, nor it appears by magic clasp of fingers but with the increase in age a person must have to develop this habit in himself.

Does Responsibility sound important?

Yes of course, but it is not something that one could explain in a few sentences. No doubt it covers a huge domain, yet it requires strenuous efforts to list down all the aspects. Some of the key points are listed:

· Responsibility is a key ingredient in effective communication because it opens doors and allows people to build rapport that increases the chances of cooperation and collaboration.

· It helps a person to get things done.

· It promotes moral character.

· Responsibility can help to reduce conflicts because it encourages people to work together towards a common goal,

· Responsibility promotes organizational efficiency by creating an environment where everyone knows their role and what is expected of them.

Well, it is something when an employee finishes all of his job duties stated within the job description and stick to company policies and procedures professionally and to the best of his ability.
