Get an Apple they said, it will be fun they said…
And it is! So one month after this lifelong Windows & Android lover purchased her first MacBook Air, she upgraded her phone to an iPhone 7 Plus today. Yup. That just happened.
The purpose of the macOS / iOS Friendly Office 365 + emPOWERment publication is to enable Mac and iPhone users to be more efficient and hopefully get them to love Office 365 as much as I do…
So far, I’ve installed and configured the following 35 apps — with NO ISSUES at all (this should also give you a crazy idea of the apps I frequently work with on my phone). You’ll notice that 15 of those apps are Microsoft apps. Office 365 truly has changed the way we work. Anywhere, anytime on any device RIGHT?? How awesome is that?
In my Me, my Mac and I. The epic start of it all blog I shared the fact that Groups and Yammer was not available for macOS yet. I see Groups is in my Outlook (on Mac) now and soon also Yammer — but woohoooo I already have it on my phone!!

I am super impressed with how easy it was to install and configure all the above apps. Compared to my Samsung — I have to admit that it was much easier. I recently reloaded my Samsung and believe me it was a tiny bit painful. Well done Apple for getting this hardcore Android-fan to admit that.
Next I’d like to setup Continuity between my MacBook Air & my iPhone. This will allow me to seamlessly work between the Mac and the phone. This will be a challenge for another day as we’ve had just about enough excitement for one day….
