This tutorial shows you how to get lyrics on your apple devices through a FREE app called Get Lyrical.

First go to http://shullian.com/get_lyrical.php and download.

Download the FREE app Get Lyrical

Go to your download folder on your lower right hand corner, and click get lyrical.

Then click on Get Lyrical above the readme file.

The program will open and show you a menu like this:

Go to your iTunes library, click SONGS and select the songs you wish to retrieve lyrics for. An easy way to select the whole library is to click on the first song, hold the SHIFT key and click the last song in your library. All songs should now be selected. Double check.

Next go to the get lyrical program and chose either Tag Selection, or Active Tagging.

  • While “active tagging” existing lyrics are not replaced.
  • When tagging the current song, or a selection of 1 song, existing lyrics arereplaced.
  • When tagging a selection of more than 1 song, some of do have lyrics, Get Lyrical asks if you want to replace existing lyrics.

Now just wait until the download finishes and you are done!

iTunes will show that it is downloading the lyrics.

When it completes you can click on a song>Get Info>Lyrics and view the lyrics that were downloaded.

To view them on your ipod/iphone/ipad just tap the album artowrk to view the lyrics.

Enjoy!
