Testnet bridge for Polygon (MATIC) is live on MacaronSwap!

As you all know, the plan for Polygon integration was the focus of the MacaronSwap team in the last couple of weeks. We are close to completing the bridge on the mainnet, but first, to ensure a smooth experience we need you to help us find all the factors which could stand in the way of said smoothness. So, let’s get into the details on how to join the testnet:

First of all, add both BSC Testnet and Polygon Testnet to your Metamask wallet and claim your Testnet BNB, MATIC, and MCRN as well, these links will guide you through the process:

For BSC: https://testnet.bscscan.com/ you can see add BSC button to the MetaMask at the bottom of the page.

Get your Testnet BNB here: https://testnet.binance.org/faucet-smart

For Polygon: https://mumbai.polygonscan.com/ you can see add Polygon button to the MetaMask at the bottom of the page.

Testnet MATIC here: https://faucet.polygon.technology/

You can claim your Testnet MCRN from the bottom of the page https://bridge.macaronswap.finance/.

Click claim, approve and you shall see a ‘Successful Claim’ message on the top right of the screen.

Now, we have detailed each step below, to help you easily find your way around the bridge. Let’s get to testing!

Step #1: Go to https://bridge.macaronswap.finance/

#Step 3.1: If the Confirmation was successful, you should see this:

Step #4: Type the amount you want to send to the Polygon chain, along with the address you wish to send it to (when testing it should be your own address), then click ‘Transfer’.

Step #4.1: Confirm the transfer

Step #4.2: If the transfer was successful, you should see the following message on the top right of your screen:

At the end of this process, you should be able to switch your network on Metamask to Polygon testnet and see the MCRN tokens appear on the interface like this:

Now, you may have noticed that the Transfer direction has changed from BSC to Polygon to Polygon to BSC (note the little arrow between the two icons).

No worries though, the process itself stays the same, only the direction changes. This means that you have to repeat the same steps mentioned above to bridge your MCRN’s back to Binance Smart Chain. But first just don’t forget to switch your network to Polygon Testnet.
