Sounds, abandoned treasures
Was one highlight from our last meet up on this November. We held this event on Kata.ai’s Office on November 14th, 2019.
Our meet up were present two speakers from Kata.ai and Bahasa Kita talked about Natural Language Processing and Indonesian Voice Recognition. On the first session we had Haryo Akbarianto Wibowo, a very talented research scientist at Kata.ai who chatted about “Word Contextualizer on Executing NLP Tasks”.
He shares his knowledge about how to tackle word contextualizing problems using available tools on the market. Further, he elaborated on using Deep Learning to solve a problem he faced.
Next discussion we told about Indonesian Smart Speaker Development, presented by one of Indonesia’s top researchers of voice recognition field, Oskar Riandi the CEO of Bahasa Kita. Mr. Riandi told us about how we abandoning sounds as a treasure and he elaborated to us any opportunities we miss out.
Meet up is always full of fun, we can leverage knowledge, expanding the network and create a new opportunity. We are thankful for kata.ai for hosting our event. The speakers, Mr. Haryo Akbarianto Wibowo and Mr. Oskar Riandi for the willingness to share with us. Mr. Welly Tambunan and the Kata.ai’s team for the generous time and effort to arrange our meet up.
