MCX Rewards for DAO members and Liquidity Providers Starts July

MCX inflation rewards alpha begins in July, where Machi X DAO members and liquidity providers will receive a weekly MCX inflation reward of 1% per week, distributed monthly.

DAO Members

TL;DR- All current and pending members of the Machi X DAO will be eligible for this reward.

Members are the lifeblood of any DAO. In our collective of artists and patrons, Machi X DAO members create fantastic artwork, support artists, help build and maintain our very beautiful virtual gallery on Cryptovoxels, and more. We want to recognize and reward these very important members of our community.

Members of the DAO will receive MCX into their registered wallet address monthly. Pending members will also receive the same, as long as their proposal has been sponsored and is going through the voting process.

Liquidity Providers

TL;DR- On Uniswap: get MCX + trading fees. On Balancer: get MCX + trading fees + BAL.

Currently, liquidity pools for MCX exist on Uniswap and Balancer. MCX holders who provide liquidity on either platform will receive the same 1% per week MCX reward from us while also receiving any trading fees Uniswap and Balancer pay out. Additionally, MCX is on the initial whitelist of 105 tokens proposed for BAL liquidity mining distribution. This means liquidity providers on Balancer will also receive BAL tokens along with their MCX rewards.

Liquidity providers will receive MCX based on the total value of their pool contribution so that configuration of pools do not impact MCX rewards.

Snapshots and Distribution

Weekly snapshots will be taken randomly, with distribution occurring in the first week each following month (1st week of August for July contributions). Results of the distribution will be shared on our Discord.

We hope this inflation reward mechanism properly rewards members of our community that help add value to the Machi X ecosystem of artists and patrons. Adjustments will be made to continue toward this goal.
