The calculation of royalties for the first half of 2019 will soon come to a conclusion. Machi X will take snapshots of accounts and distribute royalties accordingly in the following month. Important timeline
October 31, 2019 (UTC+8) — Account Snapshots
On October 31, Machi X will take snapshots of accounts at an arbitrary point in time to determine all Machi X accounts’ copyright token amounts. Royalty distributions will be based on your account balances. If you wish to participate in royalty-distribution for this time period, please be sure to hold music copyright tokens prior to Oct. 30 23:59 (UTC+8). (For the royalty distribution this time, not all the songs on the market will be included. Please reference the notes below to see the list of songs included.)
Mid-November, 2019 (UTC+8) — Royalty Distribution
After taking snapshots on Oct. 31, the Machi X team will distribute royalties according to total royalty amounts received by the copyright publisher and the amount of tokens in each account. The amount distributed to your account will be in the format of stablecoins USDT (ERC-20) (What are stablecoins?)
End of November 2019 (UTC+8) — Announcement of Royalty Distribution Results
After the distribution of royalties, Machi X will document the royalty distribution amount on each song’s copyright information page for future reference.
In addition to the schedule, other items that should be noted:
1. Copyright tokens that are placed on the order book to sell but have not been sold will also be eligible for royalty distribution. However, since the snapshot on Oct. 31 will be taken at an arbitrary time, copyright tokens sold before the snapshot is taken will not be counted towards your royalty distribution.
2. Since this royalty distribution covers the first half of 2019, this royalty distribution will only include songs launched on the Machi X platform before June 30, 2019. The list of songs (a total of 22) is as follows:
3. Royalty distributions are done once every six months. January — June royalties are distributed in Q4; July — December royalties are distributed in Q2. The first royalty distribution of each song will likely not cover an entire six month period, with subsequent royalty distributions covering the entire six month period.
For example, if the royalty revenue for the first half of 2019 for
Sound wave (STYL) is NTD$12,000, and the song was launched on
Machi X on March 1, 2019 (2/3 of the time), then the total amount of Machi X royalty distribution will be based on the calculation of
NTD$12,000 * 2/3 = NTD$8,000.4. Each song may be launched according to different copyright categories. There are three types of copyright categories: lyrics, songs, master recordings. Each song may launch with ownership in some or all three categories of copyright ownership. Detailed information on which of lyrics, song, or master recordings that each token represents is specified on each song’s information page. The royalty amount will only cover copyrights that are owned by the token.

2019 年 10 月 31 日 (UTC+8) — 帳戶快照
Machi X 將於 10 月 31 日隨機的時間點進行帳戶快照，確定 Machi X 所有帳戶的持幣數量。版稅發放將會以快照時帳戶內的版權幣數量做為發放的依據。若你希望參與本次版稅發放，請確保在 10 月 30 日 23:59 前 (UTC+8)持有本次進行版稅發放的歌曲版權幣 (並非所有上架歌曲都會於此次進行版權發放，歌曲清單請參考下方注意事項)。
2019 年 11 月中 (UTC+8) — 版稅發放
10 月 31 日快照完成後，Machi X 團隊將會依據版權經紀公司收到的版稅金額，與各帳戶的持幣數量進行版稅分發。將以穩定幣 USDT (ERC-20) 的形式 (什麼是穩定幣？) 分發至你的帳戶。
2019 年 11 月底 (UTC+8) — 版稅分發結果公布
版稅分發完畢後，Machi X 會將本次發放的版稅金額，記錄於每首歌曲的版權資訊頁面，讓使用者未來可以做參考。
除了時程，還有哪些該注意的事項：
1. 掛單中的版權幣會予以計算，但 10 月 31 日快照時間為隨機的時間點，若在快照前，你的帳戶內版權幣在市場上的賣單成交，則不會計入為你持有的數量。
2. 因為本次為 2019 上半年度的版稅發放， 2019 年 6 月 30 日前上架 Machi X 平台的歌曲才會列入本次的版稅發放。歌曲清單與上架日期如下，共計 22 首歌曲：
3. 版稅發放會每依六個月的週期進行發放，上半年度 (1–6月) 會在 Q4 執行。每首歌曲首次發放版稅時，會依照歌曲版權上架時間調整發放比例，但往後的版稅計算則不受到影響。
舉例：若 2019 年上半年音浪版稅總額為 12000 NTD
若音浪於 2019/03/01 上架 Machi X，佔上半年的 2/3
所以本次總共於 Machi X 發放的版稅為 12000 * 2/3 = 8000 NTD2019 年下半年度的版稅計算與發放 (預計為 2020 年 Q2 進行)，則會發放完整六個月的版稅金額。
4. 每首歌曲的上架版權類型不同，版權種類分為三種：歌詞、歌曲、母帶。每一首歌在 Machi X 上架的部分不同，詳細資訊會註明在每個歌曲版權頁面。若只有歌詞，則這首歌的歌詞部分的版稅，才會分發給版權幣持有者。
