Alfred is a top productivity application for Mac — the all-in-one app, I’d say.

Been using it for a couple of months, it powered up my work efficiency, productivity, and ease to their peaks, thanks to Workflows.

In Alfred, you can create tools for yourself (called Workflows), or import them created by the community. So workflows are tools, and Alfred is the toolbox.

For e.g., here’s a native workflow: click ⌥ + space, and type in youtube <term> to search YouTube for the term. This avoids three steps.

  • Opening Safari.
  • Opening YouTube and reaching the search bar.
  • Typing in the term and clicking Return.

How cool is it?

Here are 10 of the top Alfred workflows I use almost daily.

Note: You'll need a Powerpack license to import workflows. Get it here.
