13-Inch MacBook Pro with M2: Apple’s most Useless laptop

No one should buy this laptop.

During the recent WWDC 2022 Keynote event, Apple released the first in their line up of second-generation Apple Silicon chips, M2. The M2 is a chip that builds upon the already amazing M1, and just got even better performance. So, when this chip was announced, Apple decided to launch the chip and include it in two laptops, the MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro.

Now the MacBook Air with M2 not only got an updated processor, but a whole sleuth of features including a bigger screen, new design, better camera, enhanced display and so on.

However, the MacBook Pro with M2… well that is about the only upgrade.

The MacBook Pro with M2 is pretty much the same in every aspect. The design is the exact same as the 13-Inch MacBook Pro that came out back in 2016 with the Intel chips. At the time, this was an amazing design and a much needed refresh, but today, the design is far beyond outdated.

To add, many of the internals stay the same. Its the same display technology that is used, and while it is colour accurate and gets the job done, but it is not very bright. The speaker system is the same, port selection is the same which is two USB-C Ports, one of which would be used for charging purposes. Its still got…
