Up until now, Apple used to launch its new iPhone Series in September, but not this time…

A well-known leaker Jon Prosser (accurate — 78.6%) tweeted saying…

The tweet by Jon got backed up by Mark Gurman (Bloomberg Writer) which said…

Apple confirmed the delay in iPhone 12 Series launch during an earnings call with investors that provided details around the company’s Q3 quarter results. The iPhone 12 Series is speculated to include 5G support, for which they will use Qualcomm 5G modems in their SoC and multiple new hardware-level changes over the iPhone 11 series.

The latest addition came as a heads-up after Akash Palkhiwal (Qualcomm CFO) made clear that a slight delay in the launch of the next-gen iPhone 12 Series that includes the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Max, iPhone 12 Pro, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max as the new models.

Luca Maestri (Apple CFO) said, “Last year we started selling new iPhones in late September. This year, we project to supply to be available a few weeks later.” He also confirmed that he was referring to the new iPhone series.

While everything points towards delay in launch, Apple could unveil its iPhone 12 Series in September and announce its availability in October. Similar to iPhone X and iPhone XR.
