Mic modes

There are two new voice modes for calls in iOS 15, namely voice isolation and wide-spectrum mode. When using voice isolation mode, your microphone will solely focus on your voice while using Machine learning to eliminate ambient or background noise.

The wide spectrum mode will ensure every single sound around you will be heard by the person on the other side of the call, ideal if you are playing or watching something and want the other person to hear that over the call.

To use the new voice modes, go to the control center, and click on the Mic mode tile on the top. From here, you can switch between the mic modes according to your requirements. Note: this toggle only appears when you are on a call.
