3 Things I Miss About My Old Intel MacBook: A Nostalgic Look Back
A trip down memory line to rejoice the features I loved about my Old Mac — a time when Macs were not Apple Silicon-ified.

The last few months with my Mac have been spent trying, testing, and getting acquainted.
Since I got the new 16” M3 Pro-powered MacBook Pro, life has been a whole lot different for all my productive and creative pursuits. Well, that is true for any Apple Silicon Mac given the jump from Intel Macs. Even after six months, I remain awestruck by the sheer performance of this new Mac without making the fans spin or the battery drains much. Maybe that’s what happens when you upgrade after eight and a half years.
That’s right. My previous MacBook lasted me eight and a half long years. It was a 15” MacBook Pro from 2015. Eight years is no short time to have some of the best memories of a lifetime with the central powerhouse of your productivity. When I look back at the Intel Mac, I see that it seems underpowered in comparison to the Apple Silicon Mac.
