Temperature

The most important thing is not how much you use your device but in which temperature you use it. iPhone and iPad batteries are not friendly with temperatures out of 0°C and 35°C and MacBook does not like temperatures out of 10–35°C. Using your device out of this temperature range is the exact moment where you can make some serious damage to your battery.

Charging

Do not charge your device in huge cases that can cause overheat of your device. The worst thing you can do is to charge your phone in a black case in the shining sun.

Wires

Always use original Apple chargers, or buy more quality ones. When you invest such money into your new Apple device, you don’t want to damage it because you want to save five dollars on your new charger.

Always update

Always update your iPhone and apps that you downloaded. Is your iPhone draining the battery faster than usual, it may be caused by a bug in the operating system and the software update can fix this problem.

How to store your iPhone?

Let’s say that you want to put your Apple device into a drawer and you will not use it for a couple of months but do you want the battery to last as long as possible. How to do it? Do not store your iPhone discharged or charged to 100%. Charge it on 50% turn off and put it somewhere where it won’t be overrated. It is the best solution to store your old iPhone for years without causing serious damage to the battery.

Fast charging

If you want to charge your phone as fast as possible, use the biggest Apple charger or you have (iPhone apple chargers have 5W output while iPad charger has an output of 12W), turn on “airplane” mode, lower brightness and turn it off (not completely, just turn off the display).
