It’s because Apple dethroned itself from being overpriced to affordable especially with their recent refresh as the companies newly launched 4.7 inch iPhone SE starts at just $399 with major internal upgrades in the shell of an iPhone 8. Apple has a great reputation for providing software updates for years. The old iPhone SE launched back in 2016 still support their latest software and from a personal perspective, it still works perfectly. Almost all of their products are designed to handle their future software’s. Even the best Android phones top out at 2 years of update. About software, along with dark mode and other features, iOS 13 also provides high-level security and encryption methods to maintain Privacy and restrict Data Authorization from third party services. It's true that “No other smartphone at this price in the market will last as long as the new iPhone SE in terms of software support.”

2. The Camera

The iPhone SE comes with a 12-megapixel rear and a 7-megapixel front camera. The camera on the new iPhone SE is almost as good or maybe even better than any other phone that comes up in the $399 territory price tag. The camera has the same hardware as that of an iPhone 8 but because of the powerful A13 bionic processor, it has a better dynamic range along with color accuracy and allows features like portrait mode, Smart HDR, thus literally transforming the camera into something that can compete with the best phones cameras on the market. Sources reveal that it can even go toe-to-toe with the main rear camera on the iPhone 11. Lastly, the video on the iPhone SE is incredible and is far ahead of the competition, it supports recording videos as high as 4K at 60fps, smashing above its class even at this price point.

3. The Performance

In terms of performance, Apple nailed the iPhone SE by adding their top-notch A13 Bionic processor. This is an ultra-fast processor that is energy efficient and provides extensive battery life. The hardware processor is directly integrated with the software making the device seamlessly powerful. This processor has an 8 core neural engine that uses machine learning capabilities to process images at a much faster rate.No other company offers a product that runs the latest processor on their device at this price point.

4. Battery Life

iPhone SE has outstanding battery life. Apple’s conventional Retina LCD display which when integrated with the A13 Bionic processor provides a better battery life than the iPhone 8 even though it mostly has the same battery size. Sources reveal that the battery is well optimized and provides a full day life, averaging between four and five hours of screen-on time. It supports wireless charging and lasts for 13 hours when watching videos, eight hours when streaming videos, and 40 hours when listening to audio. It is capable of fast charging and can charges up to 50 per cent in 30 minutes when using an 18W power adapter or higher.

5.Value for Money

How much are you willing to spend for an iPhone that has the same performance as that of iPhone 11 lineup but comes in the form of an iPhone 8 along with years of software updates. Other than the compact 4.7-inch display and the thick bezel, nothing else seems to lack out and, as always the overall build quality looks premium. There’s no better alternative at this price point that can compete with the iPhone SE at this point of time. This is a safe bet for people who are looking for an upgrade.

6.Compact

In 2016 Philip W. Schiller, the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at Apple announced the original iPhone SE, it had the features of an iPhone 6s clamped inside the body of an iPhone 5s. The real reason people loved this device was because of its size. It was really easy to carry around, it was lightweight and perfect for one-hand use. The other major reason was this phone was perfect for those who are new to the iPhone. The present successor is no other exception.

7.Built Quality

Let's just break this down, Apple has a long history of well built distinctive products. Whether its the new Macbook air or an old first-generation iPod Shuffle, the Company is known for producing everlasting designs with sheer quality.

Even the Trackpad on the Macbook’s feels majestic .

They create their own hardware and use premium recyclable materials. When it comes to adaptation, they have great Attention to Detail as even the slightest of changes or add on’s are made with extreme precision and engineering and the glass back along with the aluminium design on the new iPhone SE brings a fine touch. Overall, the new 2020 iPhone is fast, reliable and capable.

Personally, if I were buying this iPhone SE then I’d seriously consider spending the extra $50 to upgrade the storage to 128GB, as this might be useful in the long run. This longevity is the reason that the iPhone SE is a huge deal.
