All The Buzz About iPhone 16e
Whether it’s upgrading from an older iPhone SE or switching over from an Android, is the iPhone 16e worth getting?
Apple announced their latest addition to the iPhone lineup on 19 February 2025. It was the replacement to the iPhone SE and they call it the iPhone 16e, making it part of the iPhone 16 family.
Rumours of the iPhone 16e were long in the making, spanning for years, and while there were plenty of hit and miss, the end product was not really much of a surprise to many.
The biggest rumours were the naming convention of the iPhone 16e.
Seeing that it essentially replaces the 3rd generation iPhone SE, many were expecting it to be simply called the 4th generation iPhone SE, keeping the entry-level iPhone model alongside the flagship models.
But Apple decided to instead intergrate it into the existing iPhone 16 lineup, making it part of the iPhone 16 family.
So, if you’re using an older iPhone (iPhone 13 or older) or an Android and you’re thinking of switching over the iOS, is the iPhone 16e a good option?
Well, let’s find out.
