From next week onwards, those who have Apple devices will have the option to go to Apple certified repair shops in India and 199 other countries. The company has started Independent Repair Program in 200 countries, this program was started by the company in 2019 in United States and Canada.

If you don’t know what is Apple’s Independent Repair Program, this article will provide you a brief explanation. So basically this program’s motto is to make Apple users life easy, in this program Apple will certify small shops making all the small and heavy genuine parts available. In countries like India it is a big deal as there are lot of users in the countries with large amount of population. Mostly, when people give their Apple devices for repair in small shops they are handed over their devices with fake parts which obviously don’t last that long, compared to genuine parts. This program will give an advantage to the consumers, as they will come to know whether the shop is certified by the company or not.

If your product is in warranty, it is recommended to take the service from the Apple certified service centres.

Qualifying repair providers can purchase genuine Apple parts and tools at the same price as Authorised Apple Service Providers and receive free access to repair manual, diagnostics and training.
