It has been almost a year since I purchased the Apple Watch Ultra and I really only have positive things to say about it.

The Apple Watch Ultra is Apple’s top tear watch that was released back in September 2022. It was released alongside the Apple Watch Series 8 but is truly a different and unique product. The Apple Watch Ultra is targeted towards those who are athletes or embark on adventurers of all kinds. Its noteworthy features are a complete redesign, the inclusion of an action button, dual-frequency GPS, pro diving functionality, hiking features, and a whole lot more.

Even though most of these new features are excessive for someone who doesn’t play sports, is not a professional diver, doesn’t hike, and is not a track star — I have found for the early adopter it might be the best smartwatch on the market in my opinion.

This is definitely a premium option throughout the whole smartwatch category. It is even reflected in the packaging. The box is much bigger, has an art-designed inner shell of the box, and is a much more luxurious experience. Check out the unboxing I did over on TikTok!
