Apple Watch Ultra 2 (Black) — A Very Late Review and One Big Problem
Why can’t Apple sort this out?
Better late than never, eh?
When the Apple Watch Ultra 2 was launched in September 2023, I seem to remember making a big deal about not upgrading to it from the original Apple Watch Ultra.
I even made a video about it and everything.
I am an irritating tech YouTuber, though, which is why I’ve cropped up 18 months later with an Apple Watch Ultra 2 (in black, obvs) on my wrist and many thoughts that I’m ready to commit to this page.
I’ve kinda stuck to my guns, though — this isn’t my Apple Watch Ultra 2 — it has been kindly loaned by the awesome team at Back Market (who you really should go and check out for refurbished gear). But I have had it for long enough to form some very rounded opinions about Apple’s latest super watch.
As it turns out, it hasn’t really surprised me, and there is still one big problem with Apple’s £799/$799 wearable (even if it’s hard not to love).
