Introduction

It has been a while now since Apple has first announced the launching of a new line of CPUs and GPUs intended to improve their computers and laptops and making most of their computers Apple-based instead of receiving parts from other companies such as Intel. This was the M-series of chips which Apple has been working on for years and was finally released a while ago with the first version being named the “M1” which is currently in use by multiple Apple products from iMacs, Mac minis, Macbooks, and even the iPad itself all being reliant on the new line of chips.

Nobody has any doubt that this was a successful move on Apple’s part and they have excelled since the start of the introduction of the new hardware managing to not only make their devices much more powerful, but they are also more power-efficient and more integrated together now since they all rely on the same core.

The M1 fulfilled all that was expected of it indeed, and now Apple has the hard challenge of creating a successor to a very successful M1 and not mess it up. But what are Apple’s current plans for the upcoming months and what do we currently know about the new successors and they compare to the older M1?
