The iOS 16.2 Developer Beta 1 is lately out for paying developers.

Just as I updated, I found something a really — completely — new app named Freeform.

It’s no bloatware, folks.

It’s Apple’s newest app that’s announced alongside iPadOS 16 at WWDC22.

Apple’s gonna officially release it to everyone shortly with iOS 16.2, iPadOS 16.2, and macOS 13.1.

But, what’s it, exactly?

(TL;DR:

It’s a new free productivity app in the market that can nearly kill other whiteboarding tools, including paid ones.)

It’s a plain infinite* canvas where you, and your collaborators, can add pretty much anything you need to work with — text, pics, videos, docs, pdfs, and webpages.

* It’s basically finite, but it keeps getting bigger every time you add something new. So apparently, it’s infinite.

And with the old-time Markup tools, you can write or draw anything, anywhere.
