Are Sonos Ace Better Than AirPods Max?

Sonos has, finally, made a pair of headphones.

I say “finally”, but I genuinely hadn’t thought about the prospect until the rumours started surfacing a few months ago. But when I heard that one of my favourite home audio brands was possibly working on a pair of cans, it suddenly all made sense.

The Sonos Ace are, apparently, Sonos’ most requested product. We know that because they keep telling us so in the marketing for the new headphones.

As you might expect, they’re not cheap, they offer integration with the Sonos ecosystem (although possibly not in the way you’re expecting), and they have some stiff competition.

I want to review Sonos Ace in a slightly different way. I’ll cover how they integrate with their fellow products, of course, but I know a lot of you just want to know if they’re a decent pair of headphones. That’s what matters to me, anyway.
