Your iPhone is highly unlikely to fall from the charger even with slight shocks. The overall build quality is superb, especially the cable that runs from the charger is neatly done. Like most of the MagSafe car mounts, this will also charge an iPhone with a 7.5Watt power, not the fastest but pretty enough.
2. Anker Magnetic Wireless Charger (MagGo)
From popular Anker, this is a charger that looks more like a robot arm. The arm functions very well, its smooth and strong and you can also adjust it to any angle you prefer. The charging port is in the base of the mount and there are several extra clips in the box to manage the cables. Anker did think about that part wisely! The only problem (may not be a problem at all) with this is that you can only place this in the top of the dashboard and not the vents. So if you are using a cover or placing any other thins on top of the dashboard then that could be an issue for you. Nevertheless, this charges your iPhone quite well like all the other MagSafe Car Mounts, same power as the previous iOttie charger.
3. Scosche Compatible with MagSafe
The most notable thing about this MagSafe Car Mount is that it comes in several different versions. There are Dash/Vent, Suction and Window/Dash versions to choose because it is much easier for you to get the one that suits your preferences more. The magnetic power is not as good as the previous two items but still it is sufficient to hold the phone without letting it fall, although cannot recommend for off road drivers. Another thing is the charging power, the wattage is slightly less than 7.5 but it is quite enough assuming you don’t completely depend on your MagSafe car mount.
4. OtterBox Wireless Charger Dash & Windshield Mount for MagSafe
OtterBox is quite famous for their smartphone cases, now witness their MagSafe car mount. This is at the bottom of the above average list of car mounts. Can be attached to the windscreen or the dashboard, functions like every other car mount and has a ring around the charging pad that glows in the dark. That is the only extra noticeable thing about this device. It is made from plastic, and it doesn’t feel like a cheap type of plastic, the build quality is ok and the charging power is again 7.5Watts.
5. ESR HaloLock Universal MagSafe Ring 360
If you already have an adapter, and necessary cables, then this is made for you. Because this car charger doesn’t come with any of those. It is really sturdy in structure, and you may have to struggle a bit to set it up and to adjust it according to your preference. The magnet is good and charging power is pretty normal as usual. That is everything about this, just a car mounts in a box.
6. Ghostek NRGmount MagSafe Car Mount
It sounds and look cool. You can mount it in anywhere you want. No matter if it is vent or the dashboard, all the required accessories are packed in the box. The magnetic is awesome but there is a small risk of magnet to fall of with time. Also, the packaged says that this is a 15W charger yet provides a power less than 7.5Watt.
7. Mous — MagSafe Compatible Wireless Charging Suction Mount
A really expensive car mount, with a premium build quality and a USB converter. The minimalist design is simply eye catching and this has one of the strongest magnetic connections for sure. The charging speed is good, and it is only attachable with the dashboard of the vehicle. But the important thing is, you will need a good MagSafe phone case to use with this otherwise the phone will most likely fall.
8. Belkin MagSafe Compatible Car Phone Magnetic Charging Mount
This is the last in the list for a reason. There is nothing special about this to write down. It has a mediocre magnet and there is a high risk for your iPhone to fall from the mount when you hit a speed bump (better to use a MagSafe phone case in order to get better performance). Charging power is also average but the overall build quality of the device is pretty decent. If you couldn’t find a charger to your preference, then you could maybe try this at least.
