Don’t Fall for the Hype of M4 Macs: 5 Myths YouTubers Repeat
Let’s separate facts from fiction in Apple Silicon Macs.
YouTubers promoting useless products instead of reviewing them isn’t unusual. Like news agencies, many YouTubers have an angle, and it’s often the case where they (unintentionally) misinform their viewers.
I have wasted enough time on the “Tech YouTube Community” to know that most of it is a waste of time. So, I’m writing an article explaining the myths mentioned by many YouTubers and why they are incorrect.
Before reading this article, I recommend reading my previous piece on the mistakes of buying a Mac, as you may find its information helpful.
Before I go on with my arguments, I must mention a few essential points:
- Upgrading your Mac yearly doesn’t make sense — financially and logically!
- Once you buy an Apple Silicon Mac, upgrading it makes you prone to reach the law of diminishing returns.
- Buying a two-year-old Apple Silicon Mac that’s not refurbished (Apple Certified Refurbished) isn’t financially sound.
