Don’t upgrade to the Apple Watch Series 7
Apple really dropped the ball here
The Apple Watch is the Robin to the iPhone’s Batman. Its a great sidekick, adds some useful features, and while its not needed, its nice to have. Especially if you are someone into health and fitness, the Apple Watch is a great device to have to track all your data, motivate you to close your rings and achieve your fitness goal.
The Apple Watch has been around since 2015, and with each year that goes by, there has been a new series announced which is better than the last one by providing a new “amazing” feature.
However, the jump from Apple Watch Series 6 to Series 7 was a massive disappointment. And here’s why.
First, let’s start with what is new.
Display
I would say that this is the biggest upgrade about the Apple Watch Series 7, and frankly, I don’t even see it being that big of a deal. They were able to increase the screen size even more (by 1mm), reducing the bezel, and providing less distraction, and more screen. In fact, the screen size has increased, but the size of the device has not, so the display actually wraps around the corners creating much smoother experience.
